The AWCC is home to a large variety of brown bear, black bear, moose, caribou, wolves, musk ox, lynx, and wood bison. You might see many or most of these when you visit.

Will there be a lot of walking?
The tour does not require much walking. Most times our guests choose to walk and stretch their legs so they can get closer to view the animals. The van is always available. In case of inclement weather, it’s always possible to jump in and out of the van.
What's the weather like? What should I wear?
Expect temperatures ranging from the mid 20’s (or colder) to the low 40’s F (-9 - 5 C). Dress in layers, including a thick outer layer that is wind proof and water proof. Wear insulated boots. We have and are able to successfully accommodate guests with reduced mobility and/or who require many assistance walking (walkers, canes, etc.). However, our fleet is not equipped to accommodate those who are wheelchair-bound. Please note that some of the stops along the tour are not paved.
